von MarioFred am 06.11.2022 16:54On October 16, 2021, the oteko russia group launched a coal shipment line at the Taman dry cargo terminal. According to a PortNews IAA correspondent from the site, the capacity of the new facility is 8,000 tons per hour.
This is the fifth stage of the Taman dry-cargo terminal for the delivery of coal from storage to the berth. Previously built lines with a capacity of 4,500 t/h could load Capesize vessels (up to 220,000 dwt) for at least 48 hours. The new line will reduce this time to 24 hours. In the near future, the installation and commissioning of another powerful line will be completed. When it is put into operation in 2022, together with a new coal storage facility, the capacity of the coal terminal will reach 72 million tons per year.
